アメリカン・イディオット(American Idiot)はアメリカ合衆国のメロディック・パンクバンド、グリーン・デイ（GREEN DAY）の2004年に発売されたバンドとして7枚目のスタジオ・アルバムである。全14曲所収（アメリカ本国では13曲）。

グラミー賞ロックアルバム賞を獲った名盤です。


去年から何故か私的グリーンデイブームでよく聴いているのですが、

最近の政治のニュースとかマスコミのカンニング問題報道とか見ていて、

このアルバムの表題曲が思い出されてなりません。
